Hi and welcome to our first post about things to do in Kirkcaldy and surrounding areas at the weekends.
We are not affiliated with any event or outing etc we share here, it's just stuff we think is fun and so, if you have any problems you have to go to the organisers of the event or whatever, not us!
Basically, we're not being paid by anyone to post for them or making any money from any sales i.e tickets etc. And, if injured, it's on your own head! Legal stuff out of the way, here goes :)
We are going to break this down into:
What to do if you have small children, medium children, pets, outings, pubs, restaurants, gigs and things we just think look fun.
What To Do With The Kids This Weekend.
Kartstart - 4 year olds plus.
"Kartstart is one of the longest established Go Karting centres in the whole of the UK, with state-of-the-art karts, electronic lap times and race events to cater for your parties individual needs.
We have two indoor circuits in Scotland, one in Kirkcaldy, Fife and one in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen and have a range of karts to suit every rider from kiddie karts up to the powerful twin-engined Sodi karts and both centres have excellent viewing and café facilities for riders and the spectators." Find out more here...
If you have very young children...
Ravenscraig Park.
A great place to visit on a sunny day with beautiful views over the Forth if you take a walk around. You can start off at Ravenscraig Castle and walk down to Dysart Harbour.
Dog Walk Of The Week
This weeks dog walk is around the golf course near Dunnikier Estate finishing off in the Dunnikier House Hotel.
Decent priced drinks, children welcome and a great place to sit outside after the walk. Don't need a dog either!
Sometimes it might be busy with weddings etc.
Visit the Dunnikier House Website if you want to contact them to see if they have functions on here
